Welcome to Scars and Roses. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") explain the agreement between us ("Scars and Roses," "we," "our," or "us") and you ("you," "your") when you engage with our services, website, or offerings. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Coaching, mentoring, facilitating, and workshops are not clinical therapy or psychological counseling and should not be treated as such.

1. Services Offered

At Scars and Roses, I (Lavinia) provide:

  • Coaching Sessions: One-on-one and couple coaching focusing on power dynamics, body agency, and intimacy, incorporating conscious kink practices and embodiment work.

  • Workshops: Experiential gatherings designed to spark deep personal exploration and transformation.

  • Content: Resources such as articles, newsletters, and educational materials on BDSM, power dynamics, and conscious intimacy.

2. Responsibility

I am here to help you explore and achieve goals that matter to you. However, you are fully responsible for any decisions you make and their outcomes. I am not liable for any loss or perceived failure to achieve desired results.

For experiential sessions that may involve partial or full nudity, you are responsible for your personal hygiene. This includes showering, wearing clean clothes, and avoiding strong scents or contagious conditions. If hygiene standards are not met, I reserve the right to postpone or cancel the session.

3. Coaching Procedure

After an initial intake session, we’ll decide if working together feels right. Once agreed, we’ll sign a contract outlining fees, a payment plan, and program specifics. Sessions may take place in person, via Zoom, or in a blended format as agreed.

You might be assigned tasks between sessions to deepen your experience. While optional, these tasks can significantly enhance your progress.

Support between sessions is available via email or WhatsApp. If additional charges apply, I’ll notify you in advance and proceed only with your agreement.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Individual Sessions: Cancel at least 48 hours before your session for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.

  • Workshops: Cancel at least 7 days before the workshop for a full refund minus a €5 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.

You may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability. If I need to cancel, I will either reschedule or issue a refund as appropriate.

5. Emotional, Physical, and Psychological Risks

Some activities may bring up physical, emotional, or psychological discomfort, including reflections on past trauma. While the intention is empowerment, you acknowledge the potential for intense feelings and assume responsibility for your experience.

I am not a licensed therapist or healthcare provider. If you have clinical concerns, please seek professional medical or psychological support.

6. Consent and Communication

Consent is central to everything we do. You agree to actively participate in the ongoing process of consent and can withdraw it at any time. Open communication is encouraged, especially around boundaries and discomfort.

7. Your Responsibility During Sessions

To ensure a safe and productive environment:

  • Communicate your boundaries, physical needs, and any relevant past experiences.

  • Monitor your well-being during sessions and let me know if adjustments are needed.

  • Provide feedback after sessions if anything felt unwanted or unresolved.

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

Your privacy is paramount. All personal information shared in sessions is confidential, except where disclosure is required by law. Content from sessions and workshops cannot be shared without express consent.

9. Termination of Sessions

I reserve the right to end a session if boundaries are violated, consent is withdrawn, or the environment becomes unsafe. Refunds will not be issued in these cases.

For workshops, participants may be asked to leave without refund for behavior such as:

  • Touching others without consent

  • Disrespecting boundaries

  • Using harmful or abusive language

If I believe a different approach would better serve you, I will discuss this and provide recommendations, but the decision to follow them is yours.

10. Pricing and VAT

  • Prices for individual clients include VAT.

  • Prices for organizations exclude VAT, which will be added as required by law.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, including session materials, workshop content, and website resources, is owned by Scars and Roses. You are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use this content for your own development.

12. Third-Party Links

We may share links to third-party sites. Scars and Roses is not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes will be resolved in Belgian courts.
